I'm confused about what a "blog planet" is. Is it like a clearing in the forest where the spirits of current posts from the private/separate blogs of all who subscribe sneak out of the house at night and post themselves in a group? Or are these normal independent posts made especially for this place during regular business hours.

It is interesting that this site morphed to a blog without any advance notice, or apparent consideration, for the substantive amount of useful content that had accumulated on the discussion forum. That little oversight says a lot.
